As mentioned in the intro, Driven is the only book I’ve ever read three times. So it was an extra thrill to have a conversation with the author, Dr. Doug Brackmann, which follows nicely with last week’s essay on ADHD. In our conversation, we (not surprisingly) focused on the topic of being Driven. Dr. Doug and I each shared our responses to these questions:
Hey Justin, I loved this. Thanks for introducing me to the book and concept. I remember when I was asked what I wanted to be when I was young and I said "part time teacher, part time policeman, part time fireman" - I couldn't get enough of all the options I could be. I wanted ten of me, like Doug says.
I noticed a lot of the conversation referenced men in examples and other thought leaders. I know women often have a broader capacity for rich, deep emotion just naturally and I'm curious what women Drivens are like!
