You are weary. Bone weary, maybe.
You feel a deep sadness; a kind of loss.
You feel disoriented and off-kilter.
What used to make you happy no longer does.
Are you having a meltdown?
Or are you waking up?
It is quite challenging to discern the difference- partially because they both feel similar. And also because sometimes one leads to the other. Or happens concurrently. However, knowing the difference between melting down and waking up can mitigate some of the suffering. It can provide a sense of direction and hope. It can help you create a strategy.
