Gold in the Ashes
After a blissful and busy week in Portland visiting Logan, Sarah and Fiver, and my mom, Virginia and I spent the next week at my hometown and family ranch in Baker, City, Oregon then a few days in Boise, Idaho. As expected, it was somewhat surreal to revisit places that represent 30+ years of my life. Especially with a new partner, new beliefs and a radically different life.
